
Harvest Celebration Dinner with Chef Anne Mahle (10/19)
In this enticing dinner to be served in the beautiful Kitchen Garden Café in our Visitor Center, chef Anne Mahle will cook up a creamy autumn squash soup with sage and bacon croutons, followed by roasted chicken breast with rhubarb pear chutney, rosti potatoes and roasted kale. The grand finale will be apple crisp with a pecan crust and ginger-cinnamon ice cream. Anne is a columnist for Maine Food & Lifestyle magazine and the Portland Press Herald. She is also author of At Home, At Sea: Recipes from the Maine Windjammer J&E Riggin. This dinner is part of the Kitchen Garden Series co-sponsord by Maine Food & Lifestyle magazine.
