Reception for Jake Day Art Exhibit (4/18)
During this free public reception from 5:00-7:00 p.m., view the exhibit, 'Beloved Maine,' while enjoying wine and hors d'oeuvres with members of the late Maurice 'Jake' Day's family and other admirer's of this prominent and admired artist's work.
The 'Beloved Maine' exhibit, is on view from April 1 through May 26 in the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens Visitor Center. It contains dozens of Day's landscapes carefully selected from private collections by its curator, artist Seaver Leslie.
On Saturday, April 19, the Gardens will present 'A Day of Jake Day,' with speakers, a reception, and other features.
Reservations are not necessary for either reception, and those at the receptions will not be asked to pay the Gardens' regular admission fees.
