Lyme Disease: What You Need to Know (5/17)
While gardening is not generally considered a dangerous pastime, the fear of infection by a near-microscopic insect, the deer tick, with an unpleasant and potentially long-lasting disease does make us reconsider time spent outdoors. Come to this two-hour illustrated talk to better understand this disease and learn to distinguish the facts from the fiction. This lecture will be led by a three-time “survivor” who is still out in the garden despite her bouts with the disease.
