Groundbreaking Celebration - Lerner Garden of the Five Senses (5/8)

 

Join us at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, for a multi-featured celebration to kick off construction of the Lerner Garden of the Five Senses - Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens' exceptional sensory garden. Admission is free.

Please help us honor those responsible for planning and creating a garden that will appeal to all the senses and all visitors. You'll have a good time, too, because you'll:

• Taste delicious refreshments.
• Hear delightful music and kudos for deserving people.
• See a preview of what's to come on a guided tour with the sensory garden's designer, eminent landscape architect Herb Schaal.
• Smell the scents of spring throughout the Gardens.
• Feel the enthusiasm and promise of this garden-in-the-works.
