DaPonte String Quartet Concert #1 (7/15, 16, 17)
The DaPonte String Quartet, 2008 Artists in Residence at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, will present their first concert of the season at the Gardens on Tuesday, July 15 - program below. (Please note: The DSQ will perform the same program at the First Church in Belfast on Wednesday, July 16 and at the Community Church in South Bristol on Thursday, July 17). Additional concerts will be on each of the following three Tuesdays (Wednesdays in Belfast and Thursdays in South Bristol).

The members of the DaPonte String Quartet are Ferdinand Liva and Lydia Forbes, violin; Kimberly Lehmann, viola; and Myles Jordan, cello.

Picnic Suppers Available: To make your concert experience at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens even more enjoyable, order a delicious summer picnic supper prepared by our fine Kitchen Garden Café chefs. Picnics can be picked up beginning at 6:00 p.m. You’ll receive a nicely packaged salad of fresh garden greens topped with Seal Cove Chevre, grilled chicken, dried cranberries, and candied pecans, served with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Also included are a fruit-and-cheese appetizer, Borealis bread, Poland Spring Water, and - for dessert - a white chocolate chunk brownie with dried cranberries. À-la-carte offerings will also be available from the Café on concert nights.
Admission: The price for each concert in the series is $25 per person; the series price for all four concerts in one location is $88 (tickets available on the DSQ concerts overview page). Picnics are $18 per person, plus tax, and are available only for the concerts at the Gardens.
