Many visitors ask how many people take care of the gardens.  Compared to many public gardens, we have a fairly small horticulture staff currently consisting of five year-round employees, four seasonal gardeners, two interns, and fifteen wonderful volunteers each contributing 3-8 hours a week during the growing season.  The gardens keep our crew busy, but we are always more than happy to stop and answer any questions you have, so please, don’t be afraid to ask!
