From the design and selection of plants to the soil around their roots, we are committed to quality horticulture.  However, we are also committed to providing a safe environment for our human and non-human visitors.  Accordingly, we operate our gardens organically, using only compost-based fertilizers and occasional spot applications of organically certified insecticides and fungicides.  We believe that healthy soil is the key to healthy plants.  We are also constantly trialing new plants and removing those that fail to perform here.  We hope you’ll agree that this common sense approach has tremendously improved the quality of our gardens without compromising the health of our visitors or our environment.
