Music and kids and gardens are a great combination! On two spring Thursdays, April 11 and May 9, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens will offer “A Chickadee Sings,” a new parent-child music experience presented by Victoria Hamilton. This program that’s perfect for children from babies through five-year-olds is free with Gardens admission.  The sessions will be in the open-air Seagull Pavilion in the Bibby and Harold Alfond Children’s Garden or, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, in the Bosarge Family Education Center.

In “A Chickadee Sings,”  Victoria Hamilton will play her guitar and lead an interactive music class for you and your child.  We’ll play instruments, sing, dance, and more!  Mrs. Hamilton has more than 10 years’ experience teaching music and welcomes children from “0 to 5″ and their parents or caregivers.

These programs are free with regular Gardens admission, and reservations are not necessary. To learn more, call 207-633-4333, ext, 101. Learn more about Victoria Hamilton and “A Chickadee Sings” on her Facebook page.
