Coastal Maine is a great place to garden with mosses! In the classroom and outdoors, Bill will introduce you to about a dozen beautiful local species and show you how to use and propagate them. Bring a rock no bigger than a bread loaf to get your own moss garden started by learning the “glue gun” and “blender” methods.
William Cullina is Executive Director of Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. He was formerly the Director of Horticulture and Plant Curator at the Gardens, and also worked for many years as Nursery Director for the New England Wild Flower Society. He is a well-known author and recognized authority on North American native plants.
