Fairies in the Children’s Garden Maze
Fairy fun in the Children’s Garden

Fridays in July and August is full of fun at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens for little fairies, gnomes, elves, and wizards. The Bibby and Harold Alfond Children’s Garden is the perfect place for Sugarplum Fairy music and dancing on the maze; fairy puppet shows, stories, dress-up, crafts, and games; the Great Bubble Machine; and, of course, building fairy houses. See the 2013 Fairy Friday schedule below, and look for the 2014 schedule as summer approaches.

No matter what the day or time of year, the Shoreland Fairy House Village is open daily. The Village was magically re-imagined in 2013.

Activities on Fairy Fridays are free with paid Gardens admission, and no reservations are needed. A schedule for each day will be posted in the Visitor Center.
