From Storytime in the Garden for the kids to multi-day workshops featuring highly respected experts in a variety of fields, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens presents the most enjoyable and interesting programs our experienced staff can devise. It’s our good fortune to not only know – and employ - people who are tops in their fields, but also to have a botanical garden that attracts other knowledgeable and popular presenters.

We welcome partnerships with schools and teachers, and we offer nature camps and other exciting learning opportunities for students who live in Maine or are here for a visit.

Another way to learn about gardens – and our Gardens in particular – is through docent-training programs for anyone who wants to learn and give something back to the Gardens by conducting tours for visitors.

Our therapeutic horticulture programs are a welcome addition. Taught by trained insturctors, they allow many people who might not otherwise be able to enjoy gardening to do just that.
