Water Lily with Frog on Slater Forest Pond - W CullinaWhether they’re colorfully illustrated two-hour presentations, field trips to delightful locales, or multi-day workshops, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens consistenly presents enjoyable and interesting programs by highly respected experts in a variety of fields. It’s our good fortune to not only know – and employ - people who are tops in their profession, but also to have a botanical garden that attracts other knowledgeable and popular presenters.

Another way to become more knowledgeable about gardens – and our Gardens in particular – is through docent-training programs for anyone who wants to learn and give something back to the Gardens by conducting tours for visitors.

Our therapeutic horticulture programs are a welcome addition. Taught by trained instructors, they allow many people who might not otherwise be able to enjoy gardening to do just that.
