What is a symposium? At Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, the symposia we offer each year present an opportunity for the interested public at all levels of expertise to hear different perspectives on a single subject.

The speakers are top notch, the subjects are fascinating, and the illustrated talks are captivating. Past offerings have been ‘All About Stone’ in 2005, ‘Creating Landscapes with a Sense of Place’ in 2006, ‘Gardening for the Five Senses’ in 2007, ‘The Kitchen Garden Makes a Comeback’ in 2008, and ‘Bringing Nature Home’ in 2009.
