What's a docent? A docent can be you if you are willing to first, put in about 10 hours learning about Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and its history, plants and other natural elements; second, take some practice tours with your instructors; and finally, guide tours of the Gardens on your own. It's fun, it's free, and the level of instruction is exceptional.
