Register Now:Friday, May 22, 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (online) & Saturday, July 18, 9:30 a.m.–3 p.m. (in-person) & Friday, August 28, 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (online)
Native plant expert Dan Jaffe-Wilder presents a three-part series introducing a range of various native perennials for garden settings. The course includes two online presentations in May and August and an in-person fieldwork day in July.
In May’s online class, learn about native perennials that shine in the spring. In July, we’ll meet at the Gardens to focus on summer native plant performers. And finally, the last session in August highlights native perennials that are beautiful as well as supportive of a variety of over-wintering and migrating pollinators.
All three sessions will explore native habitats and the conditions that will help these plants thrive in cultivated environments. Discussion will include plant combinations, ecological roles, propagation, aesthetics, and proper plant procurement.
