Make a Mosaic Memory Vessel

Create an original, personalized mosaic vessel in this two-day workshop with Caroline Clare Davis. Students will learn to use mosaic cutting tools and epoxy putty to make a one-of-a-kind urn, ginger jar, vase, or flower pot. There will be an emphasis on making the piece meaningful and individual to the maker. Students are encouraged to bring ceramic dishes, jewelry, and other small keepsakes from their own collections to incorporate into their work. Basic materials will be provided, and there will be plenty of ceramic tile, glass, and miscellaneous items to add to student pieces. Tile nippers and epoxy are included in the class price.
