Nature Adventure Camp (Ages 7-9)

It’s time for your child to pull on their hiking shoes to explore the farthest reaches of the Gardens! Each day features a new excursion into one of our many diverse habitats, from fields and forests to ponds and wetlands.
As campers explore the flora and fauna, they will learn about biodiversity and ecosystems. Nature-inspired read-alouds, crafts, and games will round out the day, helping children develop a strong connection with the natural world and environmental awareness.
Note: Drop off for this camp starts at 9 a.m. Programming starts at 9:30 a.m.

Extended Explorations Aftercare
1:30 – 4 p.m. every day after camp ends
Does your child want extra time after camp to explore the Children’s Garden, catch frogs, or build a fairy house? Does a later pick-up time work better for you?
In our Extended Explorations, campers can spend an extra two hours exploring, playing, and discovering after the regular camp day ends. Youth education staff members will lead activities, including games, hikes, and nature discovery in our gardens and woodlands. Pick up time runs from 3:30-4 p.m. To register for this program, select the option with the Extended Explorations add-on when you add it to your cart.
