STEAM in the Garden Camp (Ages 7-9)

Experience S.T.E.A.M in the garden! Each day of this summer camp will focus on one of these exciting fields through guest experts, hands-on exploration, and plenty of opportunities for inventing and creating. This engaging learning and inquiry opportunity will take place across the Gardens’ beautiful landscapes and diverse natural habitats. Campers will build skills with scientific tools, experience the design process, collect scientific data, and harness their creativity. Note: Drop off for this camp starts at 9 a.m. Programming starts at 9:30 a.m.

Extended Explorations Aftercare
1:30 – 4 p.m. every day after camp ends
Does your child want extra time after camp to explore the Children’s Garden, catch frogs, or build a fairy house? Does a later pick-up time work better for you?
In our Extended Explorations, campers can spend an extra two hours exploring, playing, and discovering after the regular camp day ends. Youth education staff members will lead activities, including games, hikes, and nature discovery in our gardens and woodlands. Pick up time runs from 3:30-4 p.m. To register for this program, select the option with the Extended Explorations add-on when you add it to your cart.
