The best way to enjoy the Gardens is as a member. When you become a member, you receive free admission during our regular season as well as many exclusive benefits. The support you provide by becoming a member helps us deliver our mission to inspire meaningful connections among people, plants, and nature through horticulture, education, and research. We have several member’s insider tours each season that offer an up-close and personal look at the fascinating plants, creatures, history, and science the Gardens has to offer. We are part of the American Horticulture Society Reciprocal Admissions Program (RAP). As a part of the RAP, our members get free or discounted admissions to over 330 gardens across the United States and Canada. For a full list, please click here. 

No, our members no longer need to reserve tickets in advance.

For a child to get free entry under your family membership, they must be between the ages of 3-17; 0-2 year-olds receive free admissions regardless of membership. 

A “Named Member” is the name you want to appear on your card(s). The “Named Member(s)” are the people who will be receiving the full membership benefits.

No. Memberships are non-transferable. However, we do provide every membership with a one-time-use guest pass that is transferable!

No. Guest passes are only valid for regular season admission.

No. The guest pass is one-time-use only. We do, however, offer the option to upgrade every membership with the Add-A-Guest upgrade.

The Add-A-Guest add-on is an upgrade that can be added to any membership. The Add-A-Guest upgrade allows one guest to accompany you for free on every visit. Note: the cardholder must be present upon entry.

No, you will not lose any time on your membership. We add the additional membership time to your current expiration date. We encourage everyone to renew early so that your benefits do not lapse! 

The duration of a one-year membership is twelve months. Your membership will be valid until the following year at the end of the month in which you purchased it. For example, if a membership were purchased on July 3rd 2024, it would expire July 31st 2025.
