Kitchen Garden Café

The Kitchen Garden Café in the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens Visitor Center offers fresh and delicious fare, whether for lunch or a snack. Whenever possible, we use local and organic ingredients. Because we use only the best available ingredients, our menu changes frequently based on availability and season. Packaged snacks are also available in the Gardens Gift Shop.

New for 2014 – stop by the new walk-up window on the Kitchen Garden Terrace for quick dining service daily.

Kitchen Garden Dinner Series featuring Maine’s top chefs, spring and late-summer teas, and other events provide more opportunities for visitors to enjoy our beautiful café.

Catered lunches are available for groups year-round with advance reservations.

The Kitchen Garden Café is open from April 15 through October.
Hours are usually 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Sea Glass at Inn by the Sea is located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Each year, the Kitchen Garden Dinner Series draws "foodies" across Maine and because seating is limited, dinners typically sell out quickly. Wine and gratuities are included. Should an event be sold out and you wish to be placed on our waiting list, please contact us, Courtney Locke clocke@mainegardens.org

Executive Chef Mitchell Kaldrovich offers a fresh take on all things Maine at Sea Glass. With a culinary focus on creating the freshest fare from local and seasonal ingredients, Kaldrovich adds an international touch to Maine flavors at the Inn’s ocean view restaurant.

Chef Kaldrovich brings extensive experience at several acclaimed dining establishments and world-class resorts to Sea Glass, as well as an exciting international sensibility, that takes the Inn's locally inspired menu to the next level. The chef creates and works hands-on with the menu that changes regularly to integrate the freshest ingredients available locally, in addition to managing all aspects of the restaurant’s kitchen and catering operations.

“The concept is to be light and fresh, to enjoy Maine’s natural flavors, and to let the food speak for itself,” says the chef. “No overwhelming sauces, but a creative mix of flavors and combinations of sides that allow the pure taste of our Maine scallops and White Mussels, or the delicious simplicity of a Maine potato, and the sweetness of farm ripened tomatoes to come out.” source: Inn by the Sea

Fuel, located in the historic Lyceum Hall in Lewiston, Maine, is a Modern Bistro and wine bar. Fuel's cuisine is solidly based around French Country food, with some American twists. Approachable, hearty cuisine, done well.

Fuel is passionate about where they purvey their food, and utilize many local growers and suppliers. All of their beef is Midwestern grass fed, the pork is from Iowa and is hormone and antibiotic free, as is their chicken.
