What’s In Bloom – September 12, 2023

What's In Bloom

Pink and white anemones are blooming across the Gardens! Be sure to see the Robustissima grape-leaf anemone (Anemone tomentosa ‘Robustissima’) on the Cleaver Lawn, the WILD SWAN™ anemone (Anemone ‘MACANE001’) in the Vayo Meditation Garden, and the Whirlwind Japanese anemone (Anemone ‘Whirlwind’) outside the Burpee Kitchen Garden. Also blooming are two unusual woody plants: the Franklin tree (Franklinia alatamaha) in the Pond Garden, and the seven-son flower (Heptacodium miconioides) on the Haney Hillside.
