Nature Illustration Camp: 3D Nature Art | SOLD OUT
July 26 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Naturalist and internationally award-winning botanical watercolor artist Hillary Parker returns this summer to teach two week-long, theme-based Nature Illustration Camps in our outdoor classroom.
Inspired by the works of Andy Goldsworthy, Kathy Klein, and Patrick Dougherty, young artists will work together to create art from nature, including botanical-, woodland-, and edible-plant mandalas, fairy houses, stone and stick sculptures, nature people, and leaf insects. Some of the work will be built in place and reclaimed by nature, and some will be created in our outdoor studio and taken home by students.
Hillary Parker is a naturalist and international award-winning botanical watercolor artist with paintings exhibited and sold worldwide. She enjoys a dual painting and teaching career spanning 30 years, including requests for private and public watercolor commissions, juried international exhibitions, lectures, workshops, ongoing botanical art classes, private art instruction, online private art classes, corporate art events, and solo and group shows with botanical gardens and art galleries.
